Description
Two is an original watercolor painting depicting two young people walking together, hand in hand, at the beginning of their relationship.
Seen from behind, the couple moves forward into an open, undefined space. Their joined hands quietly suggest closeness and trust, while the soft, atmospheric watercolor washes leave much of the surrounding world open to interpretation.
This painting is about young love, new beginnings, and the uncertainty of the future. I chose watercolor for this work because of its unpredictable nature—the unexpected blooms, softened edges, and transparent layers echo the way a new relationship unfolds, with no clear idea of what lies ahead.
Two captures a fleeting moment between what has already begun and everything that is still to come.
