Where the River Bends

Description

Where the River Bends is an original watercolor painting of a quiet river winding through lush summer greenery.

A quiet river winds through lush greenery beneath a wide summer sky, leading the eye toward an old riverside building in the distance.

I was drawn to the contrast between the cool, reflective water and the warm, sunlit vegetation along its banks. Loose watercolor washes let the trees and reflections dissolve into one another, while the distant architecture provides a quiet focal point and a sense of place.

This original watercolor captures the feeling of discovering a peaceful corner of the landscape—a moment of light, water, and summer stillness.
